At Southampton we have been recruiting paediatric patients to GenOMICC’s since Oct 2022 and have recruited over 50 children.
We recruit mainly from Paediatric Intensive Care and the study has been well received by parents and staff. Everyone recognises the importance of understanding critical illnesses and we are proud to be involved in research which helps develop better treatments for children in the future.
We have enjoyed recruiting to GenOMICC’s and the central team have made it easy!
