Collaboration with the GenOMICC study and the University of Edinburgh has been a deeply rewarding and transformative experience for our team. It has strengthened our capacity for genomic research, fostered valuable international partnerships, and provided an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to understanding the genetic factors influencing critical illness. The study has also helped engage our local clinical and research community in global precision medicine efforts, inspiring new research directions and collaborations.
